Nursery admissions in Delhi to begin on November 29 Guidelines for this year’s admission to open seats in private schools remain the same as last year. Last year, a new upper age limit was introduced — three, four and five years respectively as of March 31, 2020 — and that continues to be applicable this year. The application process for entry-level seats in the capital’s private schools will begin on November 29, over two weeks earlier than it had begun last year. Director of Education Binay Bhushan said this has been done to ensure EWS/DG students and children with special needs (CWSN) can start school on time with other students. The schedule for admissions to Nursery, KG and Class I — whichever might be the entry-level class in a particular school — was released by the Directorate of Education (DoE) Wednesday.
