3.
Criteria for Selection
















The students applying under EWS category, Disadvantaged Group & Orphans shall be selected







keeping in view the guidelines and notification issued by Directorate of Education, Govt. NCT.







Delhi.







Common Applications Form free of cost shall be distributed to the parents of EWS.







Application forms received will be divided in four categories:







Category A : 0 – 1 km







Category B : 1 – 3 km







Category C : 3 – 6 km







Category D : Beyond 6 km



EWS and


Admission shall first be offered to eligible students belonging to EWS & Disadvantaged Group /



Disadvantaged


Orphans residing within 1 km of the school.



Group Students


In case the vacancies remain unfilled, students residing within 3 km of the school shall be














admitted.







If there are still vacancies then the admission shall be offered to other students residing within 6







km of the school.







Students residing beyond 6 km shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even







after considering all the students within 6 km area.







The draw if required shall be carried out in the presence of the nominee of the Directorate of







Education.



Staff Quota


Admission under this category shall be made for the wards including grand children of the staff /





employees of the school. The unfilled seats of the staff quota shall spill over to open seats.














Admission under this category shall be made out of all the registered sibling applicants. The



Siblings Quota


remaining applicants shall be considered for admission as per the fixed parameters / criteria







and points for open seats.







Admissions under this category shall be made on 100 point scale based on the following

Parameters / criteria without any discrimination of Caste / Religion / Region etc. The 100 points







shall be distributed on the following parameters.

The admission shall be made without any discrimination of caste / religion etc. by the admission


committee under the Chairmanship of the Principal. No interview or interaction shall be held with the


candidates and parents.




8.
The Registration forms shall be available at the reception of the school on all working days from


December 20, 2014 – January 5, 2015 between 8.30 am to 2.30 pm on payment of Rs. 25/- only. Online


registration facility is also available. Registration Form can also be downloaded from School Website


(www.theindianheightsschool.com). For EWS category the form will be free of cost. The filled in form


should be deposited in the office of the school by January 5, 2015 upto 3:00 pm.

The filled in registration form should contain the
self attested photocopies of the documents as


specified in the Govt. order. Documents to be submitted along with Registration Form (Only self


attested photocopy required)
