GENERAL INFORMATION

1. AVAILABILITY OF SEATS : 252

Pre-School :             180

Pre-Primary :            72

2.  AGE ELIGIBILITY

3 years for Pre-School class

4 years for Pre-Primary class

(Photocopy of Birth Certificate to be attached with the Application Form)

3.    ADMISSION CRITERIA:

·         25% seats will be reserved for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Group (DG) defined under the RTE Act 2009

·         25% seats will be reserved for Siblings.

·         15% seats will be reserved for children of Alumni.

·         20% seats will be reserved for the General category.

·        15% seats will be reserved as the Management Quota and will include seats for the children of serving teachers

In respect of the Sibling Quota, the unfilled seats will be offered to Alumni subject to a total reservation in that category being increased from 15% to a maximum of 20%. Further unfilled seats will be added to the General category.

5% of the total number of seats in each individual category (other than EWS and Management Quota) will be preferentially allowed to the Female Child and Children with Special Needs of the type catered for by the School.

In any category, if applications are more than the available seats, the selection will be done by a draw of lots.

The process for the selection of applicants under EWS/DG category will be carried out as per the prevailing guidelines of the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

4.    AVAILABILITY AND SUBMISSION OF FORMS

·         Application Forms can be downloaded from the school website.

·         The Common Application Form for admission under EWS & DG Category under the RTE Act, 2009 issued by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi can be either collected from the School Office from 3rd January 2015 or downloaded from www.edudel.nic.in.

·         Duly completed application forms will be accepted in the School Office as per the following schedule:

(a)    For General Category from 5^th January to 15^th January 2015

(b)   EWS & DG Category from 5^th January to 20^th January 2015 ( On all working days and Saturday, 10^th January 2015 )

Timings:

(i)    For Pre-School : From 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

(ii)   For Pre-Primary : From 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.

·         The lists of provisionally selected candidates for both classes will be displayed in February 2015. Admission process will be completed by 31^st March 2015.

6.    The entire Admission Procedure and Criteria are provisional and without prejudice and are subject to modifications based upon any Order/Direction/

Judgement of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

SCHOOL TIMINGS and TRANSPORTATION - .

Pre School :  9 am to 12.30 pm.

Parents make their own arrangement to drop and pick the child.

Pre Primary: 8 am to 1.30 pm

Transport arranged by the school is available on most routes on a bi-annual payment basis.
