Admission Notice (Nursery 2015-16)

Issue/Download of forms

Registration forms for admission to Class Nursery can be downloaded from the school’s website or collected from the school free of cost between December 1, 2014 to December 20, 2014.
Timings : 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
                 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Registration of forms

Registration form duly filled in and signed along with required documents should be submitted latest by December 20, 2014 in the school with a registration fee of Rs. 50/- only.

                 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Admission Criteria

The selection will be based on Draw of Lots which will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 in the school auditorium at 10:30 a.m. Please specify your mobile numbers and e-mail IDs correctly. Information regarding the same shall also be intimated through SMS/e-mail.

Seats Availability & Reservation

Total Seats = 150
Reserved for EWS under RTE Act = 25% i.e. 37 seats
General Category = 113 seats
50% of 113 seats are open to children other than siblings, staff wards and wards of DPS alumni.

Age Criteria

For admission to Class Nursery, the child should have completed 3 years as on March 31st, 2015 i.e. children born between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012.

Documents Required

• Attested photocopy of Birth Certificate of the child.
• If the child belongs to SC/ST/OBC category, attested photocopy of relevant document.
• One passport size photo of the child, child’s father and mother.

In case the child belongs to EWS category, the following additional documents need to be submitted

• Attested copy of family income certificates issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM).
• Proof of residence in Chandigarh for at least 3 years preceding the 1st April of the academic year in which admission is sought.

     Without these documents, forms are liable to be rejected.
