SRWS School Dwarka Pre-School Admission Session 2015-16

Pre-School (Academic Session 2015 - 16)
In pursuance to the Director of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi order F.DE/15/Act/2007/7002, dated 24-11-2007 and F.DE.15/Act./2007/7164-83, dated 29-11-2007 following criteria have been laid down for admission to Pre-School Class for the year 2015 – 16

Category Wise Seat Distribution
25% of the seats Free Ship Quota 

(EWS & Disadvantaged Group)
Shall be reserved for candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Section and Disadvantaged group/Orphan who are eligible as per conditions laid down in Govt. Notification no. 15(172)/DE/Act/2010/69, dated 07-01-2011 and subsequent orders in this regard and shall be filled on random basis from amongst the applicants.30
Reserved Seats 
5 % for Staff.
5% of the seats shall be filled from amongst the children of the employees. In case the number of applicants exceeds the seats reserved under this category, the seats shall be filled through a draw.6
20% for Management Quota
20% seats shall be kept under Management Quota. The seats shall be allotted and filled as per the discretion of the management of the school.24
General Seats 
(50%)
Remaining 50% of seats shall be filled on 100 point scale based on school specific criteria.60

Criteria for Selection
The candidates applying under E.W.S. Category & Disadvantaged group shall be selected on random basis through a draw of lot in the presence of a nominee of the Education Department. (Subject to any change by DOE) 

General Candidates
Admissions shall be made on 100 point scale based on school specific criteria without any discrimination of Caste/Religion/Region etc. The points shall be distributed on the following parameters:

Age
The child should be at least three (03) years old as on 31st March, 2015 for admission in Pre-School Class. The upper age limit shall be as decided by the Directorate of Education. 


Registration Procedure
The candidates can register their names at the admission counter of the school on all working days from 20th December, 2014 to 05th January, 2015 between 8.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. on payment of Rs.25/- only. However, the forms for E.W.S. category and Disadvantaged group shall be available free of cost. 

The filled in forms should be deposited in the office of the school upto 05th January, 2015, 3:00 p.m. on all working days. 

The filled in application form should contain the attested photocopies of the documents as specified in the Government order.

Admission
The admission shall be made without any discrimination of caste/religion/region etc. by the admission committee under the Chairmanship of the Principal and assisted by the Primary Incharge. For random selection under EWS & Disadvantaged group. Govt. nominee shall also be invited. 

No interview or interaction shall be held with the candidates or her parents. 

Criteria for Selection under EWS & DA Category 

Free ship Quota 

The candidates applying under EWS Category, Disadvantaged group Orphans shall be selected as per the orders of Hon. High Court dated 31st January, 2012 and circulated vide Directorate order No.F.15 (110) DE/Act/2011/7563-74, dated 13th February, 2012. 
  • Admission shall first be offered to eligible students belonging to EWS Disadvantage group/orphan residing with in 1 KM of the school.
  • In case the vacancies remain unfilled, students residing with in 3 KM of the school shall be admitted.
  • If there are still vacancies then the admission shall be offered to other students residing with in 6 KM of the school.
  • Students residing beyond 6 KM shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students with in 6 KM area.
  • The draw if required shall be carried out in the presence of the nominee of the Directorate of Education.
