Nursery Admissions Session 2016-17 St Kabir Public School Chandigarh


Age eligibility – Nursery

1. Children between 4 years and 5 years by 31st March 2016 are eligible.
Or
Born between 1st April 2011 and 31st March 2012 inclusive.

2.There will be no relaxation of the age criterion.

 3.Registration forms will be available at the School Fee Counter between 1st Dec, 2015 and 10th Dec.,2015 except 6th Dec., 2015 (Sunday) between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. They can also be downloaded from the website : www.stkabir.co.in Only one form per candidate will be accepted.

 4.Filled forms along with relevant documents will be accepted from 1st Dec, 2015 till 10th Dec., 2015 between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. except 6th Dec. 2015(Sunday).

 5.The registration form will be rejected in case of incomplete or incorrect information.

 6.Submission of Registration form is not a guarantee of admission.

 7.Requirement for Registration :

 a) Registration Fee of Rs. 100/- which is non-refundable.

 b) Original Birth Certificate and a photocopy. Affidavit will not be accepted in lieu of the Birth Certificate.

 c) One recent passport size photograph.

 9.Total no. of Seats in Nursery : 90

 10.Selection Criteria :

(i)Sibling (Only real brother or sister) of student studying in St Kabir, Chandigarh

 (ii)Children of Alumni (ex-students of St Kabir, Chandigarh who have passed Class X from the school)

 (iii)Ward of Teaching Staff/ Administrative Staff presently working in the school.

 (iv)The remaining applicants fall under the General Category. They will be admitted by drawing lots.

11.Fee Structure : Rs. 82884/- (Includes One time Admission Fee, Annual charges, Annual Tuition Fee and Refundable Security). Fee will be accepted only by Draft/Pay Order in favour of “St Kabir Public School, Chandigarh”. Kindly mention the name of the child, father’s name & mobile number on the reverse side of the Draft/Pay Order.

 12.The draw of lots for General category will be held on Jan. 15th, 2016(Friday) at 3.30 p.m. sharp.

 13.This process will take place on the school playfield. (Entry from the rear gate)
14. Parents must bring the registration slip issued to them by the school.

 15. Entry will be restricted to both parents only (No friends or relatives will be permitted) Children are not required to accompany their parents.

 16.The following categories are not required to be present in school on the day of drawing lots :-

 a.Sibling (Only real brother or sister) of student studying in St Kabir, Chandigarh

 b.Children of Alumni (ex-students of St Kabir, Chandigarh who have passed Class X from the school)

 c.Ward of Teaching Staff/ Administrative Staff presently working in the school.

 17.Successful candidates (whose names are pulled out during the draw) will be issued a slip, by the school, immediately after the draw.

 18.The final list of selected candidates will be put-up on the school notice board on 15th Jan. 2016.(After 5.00 p.m.)

 19.A waiting list of 8 candidates will be displayed on the school notice board & website.
20.The admission formalities must be completed from 18th Jan., to 29th Jan. 2016 between 9.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.

 21.Failure to complete the Admission formalities by 29th Jan. 2016 shall result in the child’s forfeiting the right & claim to the seat. No extension for completing admission formalities will be given.

 THERE WILL BE NO ADMISSIONS TO CLASSES K.G – X IN THE SESSION 2016-17.

Kendriya Vidyalayas are highly affordable and co-curricular oriented schools in India. Moreover, they are managed by Central Government of India.
